This is my list of SQL tools or queries that I have found useful over time and to which I refer regularly. Sometimes one doesn't use something everyday and can't remember the syntax
Nice Tool
SSMSTools (www.SsmsToolsPack.com) - This is a very nice toolset created by Mladen Prajdic.
I've recommended it to many friends and colleagues if but for just one thing.... History tracking! This tool will keep a history of SQL you have executed and even just SQL you've had opened on your screen. A number of times this has helped to save me from recreating SQL when my computer froze or the session crashed (it happens).
This handy way of tracking things you ran, if you are questioned about when something was done, can track to the exact time, and even better, help to prove you did NOT run something when data has changed in a way that is being reviewed.
It also has a handy snippet manager and more.
